Description
* The Hope Project is currently in the process of modifying its system after relocation, and is primarily focusing on the provision of hygiene products, cleaning supplies, winter coats and boots as needed, and clothing and furniture by request. The other items listed in the paragraphs below are not available at this time. Please email dee@thehopeprojectofwny.org for additional information. *

Provides gently used clothing, shoes, coats, winter wear, baby items (does not include baby food or formula), maternity clothing, prom dresses, Halloween costumes, toys, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies to qualifying families and individuals. Also offers a holiday gift assistance program.

Accepts donations of items listed above. Clothing should be contemporary and in good condition, and household items and toys should be in good working order.


Hours
Thursday, 10am-3pm.

Closed on national holidays and when the Lancaster, Depew, or Williamsville public schools are closed due to weather.

Eligibility
Struggling families and individuals including:
- Those struggling to make ends meet despite employment
- Those who have lost a job through no fault of their own
- Seniors ages 65 and older
- Disabled individuals and families with special needs members
- Victims of domestic violence in transition
- Veterans and military families
- Individuals and families that have experienced a sudden or unexpected tragedy, such as a house fire or serious medical diagnosis

Intake Process
Clients must fill out an application and provide documentation for the circumstances under which they qualify, such as pay stub, proof of disability, domestic violence police report, or special needs children diagnosis.
