Description
Protects the safety and property of persons through prevention of juvenile delinquency, adult crime, and related family malfunctioning. The main functions of Probation are investigation, supervision, and intake to provide the Court with accurate material and reliable information. The department conducts investigations and reports for the Court on cases of juvenile delinquency, persons in need of supervision, family offense, custody, adoption, guardianship, and neglect.
