Description
Provides the following services.

Employment Readiness: Career counseling, career exploration, career advisement, resume preparation, interviewing assistance, online video interview assistance, and custom made workshops.

Job Search Assistance: Access to computer labs, copy service, free mailing, current job listings, labor market information, job fairs, job clubs, and "Meet the Employers" on-site career fairs, where employers are on-site to recruit and interview job seekers.

Career Advancement and Training Grants: Connected education, training programs, and support services that enable individuals to secure a job or advance in an in-demand industry or occupation. Training grants available for in-demand occupations such as Nursing, HVAC, Machining, CDL, Mechanics, Accounting, and over 50 additional occupations.

Job Training: High school equivalency diploma classes, soft skills classes, and training on computer and internet use, keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Word.

- Young Adult 18-30 Employment Services
- Individuals with Disabilities Employment Services
- On-the-Job Training Program
- Clothes Closet

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Orientation: Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm.

Eligibility
No restrictions; open to the public.

Walk in to attend orientation (see Hours above) before receiving services or sign up for orientation on the splash page of the City of Buffalo website at www.buffalony.gov/jobs
